Ok - here's my incrementals on my timeslips. This was the first time I drove a TC down the 'strip. I tried to keep the car as stock as I could. Previous owner had already attached KN cone. FP died a month or 2 ago so put in the 255 HP and Kirban AFPR - set at stock levels. I also installed 2 - stage Gillis wired to fuel switch with high setting at 15psi. I got 3 runs in before it got rained out.
Overcast cold (temps in 50's) tire pressure at 34psi all around, about 18 gals. gas in tank.
run 1 - launched at 2500 - shifted at 5200 (wanted 4800 but watched the motorcycle in the other lane - it was one of those hiabusa - sp - bikes)
r/t - .878 sit & spin
60' - 2.537 spun more on 1 - 2 shift
330 - 6.993 got rubber on 2 - 3 shift as well
1/8 - 10.536 @ 70.53 mph
1000 - 13.565
1/4 - 16.123 @ 88.52 mph
run 2 - launched at 1600 and almost stalled the car, then massive quantities wheelspin. Better at shift points - need more seat time.
r/t - 1.088
60 - 2.702
330 - 7.163
1/8 - 10.696 @ 70.75
1000 - 13.713
1/4 - 16.261 @ 88.85
run 3 - luanched at 2000 still spun through most of first but did get out of the hole somewhat and only chirped on the 1 - 2 shift. Did best job of hitting shift points at 4800 - Keep missing that at the 1-2 shift though - golly it happens fast!
r/t - .578
60 - 2.524
330 - 6.876
1/8 - 10.366 @ 71.19
1000 - 13.384
1/4 - 15.919 @ 89.27
Oh and the bike from run 1 had these numbers
r/t .027
60 - 1.574
330 - 4.153
1/8 - 6.245 @ 117.69
1000 - 8.059
1/4 - 9.608 @ 145.32
Non TC I know, but amazing for a stock bike. I was reading his scoreboard before I was at half track and have no clue what rpm I shifted into 3rd at.
I think I have a few tenths in traction and a few tenths in getting the driver around. I still want to get more runs in before I do more to it as I don't really think my numbers are very close to what the car can do. I told coworkers that I thought mid 15's and I still think that's what the car has in it now.
