I just installed a brushed aluminum gas door on my 86 TC. I had to use a 95 mustang gas door because of the size. Well..I wanted matching name badges so I had a set made.

Check it out...

Im either going to install with sheet metal inset screws or glue, most likely screws.

I was going to CNC a set but these were more cost effective. Just didnt like the all black ones that didnt stand out.

hehe.. some replicas CNC'd out of aluminum would be super cool because the original shape and look could be obtained... and then they could be annodized black and the letters painted Smile

Ive actually been wanting to make some out of diamond plate but instead of having raised letter like the originals i wanna take a engraver and engrave the letters out so just the letters can be painted just havent had time to do it.

Do you have any pics with them mocked up on the car? I am curious to see what they look like mounted. They sure look cool just sitting there!
