Is there a TCA? I bought 3 TC's last week and will be going to look at another one tonight. I date a girl who owns a TC. I have TC's in 3 states, and 6 yards, and a 14'x48' garage. I have 50 TC slot Cars, 17 TC models, 8 Pro-Stock T-Bird models, a TC remote control, and 15 other assorted Die-Cast TC's. Life is good....

Look, I hate to not have any info on this post and be posting here...but that is the second stupid @$$ post I have seen from this person (turbocoupeturbo). I smell an outright troll, or something in that form. Either way I think it's something we don't need here.

Every one of his 4 posts are directed towards floridaturbo. Seems to me like he knows him. I don't see anything wrong with the above post or any he has made.
NO TC and NO headaches.

Mike, the meeting is convened, would you please read the 12 steps.

1. Admitted we were powerless over forced induction and that our need for speed was unmanagble.

2.Came to believe that more boost could restore us to sanity.

3.Made a decision to turn our time and energies to the persuit of more boost as we understood it.

4.Made a fearless and searching quest for cooler charge air.

5. Admitted to ourselves and other turboholics the exact nature of our overwhelming urges.

6.Were entirely ready to remove all restrictions to flow.

7.Humbly asked the turbo gods to port away all restrictions

8.Made a list of all who had beaten us and became willing to hole shot them.

9.Hole shoted such people, except when to do so would be harmful to the headgasket or pistons.

10.Continued to collect speed parts and when we were beaten, promptly upgraded for more boost.

11.Sought through practice and soft compunds to improve our contact with the track, as we understood the coefficient of fiction, praying only for quick reflexs and the power to speed shift.

12.Having experienced lightheadedness as a result of high boost, we tried to carry the message to other turboholics and practice these principles at every opportunity.

yeah, i know it looks bad. not a troll, and yes, unfortunately, i do know floridaturbo. very good friends, i started his turbo coupe craze. i feel responsable. as for the lack of postings, well... the us coast guard hasn't come across this idea of off-time. so i only get to post sporadically, kinda like when floridaturbo posts, being a fellow coastie (which i am also responsible for). Sorry if I still look bad, but dont worry, coming July, no posts for a whole month :-(

edit: thanks for the support glenn

Sorry if you guys don't like the gloating posts, but I thought NATO was a little more laid back. Yes, TurboCoupeTurbo does know me and is a fellow Turboholic (but which one has the girl . .. )with 5 TC's of his own. Life is good right now, and after being turbo-less for over a year. I have many pics I would like to upload, but I'm experiencing difficulties (wow, 2 big words in a row). All I'm trying to say is, SIT BACK AND ENJOY IT MAN! We don't have long here, and TurboCoupeTurbo and I's shipmates are being shipped to foreign countries (props to Deadbird in the UK) and fighting and dieing! When you find something you love, stick to it, and enjoy. Happy boosting.

Yes, we are laid back. Just trying to figure out why you are still friends with a guy who got you into the Coast Guard. (Just kidding - well, maybe only a bit - I'm retired USN, the best kind of USN.)

I don't think the gloating posts are a problem. Whodat was just concerned that we don't become a target for trolls. I'm not a moderator, but judging from Glenn's post, no harm, no foul, and if your girl will let you have that many TurboCoupes, marry her before one of the single guys on this board tries to steal her from you. She's a keeper.

By the way, did you buy the one you went to look at?

Yes, actually I did buy another one (that's 4 in 11 days). It's a nice, straight, rust free 88 auto in Gunmetal with a Charcoal/Raven leather interior and a dealer installed lift-out roof (ruins the car, but it's done nice and doesn't leak, they just cut the hole too far forward to convert the "real" moonroof in.) If nobody wants it, I will unfortuneately part her out too. Although it may be a good donor for my "convertible TC" plan...
