ok so i get in fight with g/f, thats sucks im pissed, so i take her hoem on the way hoem out of no wher ehte car just pings then bog and pings soem more, soudns liek my valve train is falling apart.
my vacaum is goign nuts.
so yay my car is dying.
it wotn idle, and if it does the vacuam is between 8-14 fluxating baxck and forth hard to see needle while this is happening, i cant keep it running most oif the tiem i cant acclerate with out it pinging, soudns liek i dropped 2 tosn of marbel in my motor.

so i decdcie to attempted tio fix this so i pull the spout conenctor, gives me alil more power, not much.
im ont eh throttle just to keep it moving, i didi 45mph ona 65mph road for 30mins plus. it runns hot the manifold is glowing read.
this is all at 11:30 at night.

i wil check more in the morning.
i searched this and seen so far, faulty injector (soudns run to go with my WOT stumble i ha da few months back and the pinign that oi constanbtly get with the KS disconnected)
or a blown head gasket, that woudl mena two car now, a 95 neon and 88 TC in ym back yard wth head gasket problems! UGH! i cant take it anymore!
knwo i now why poipel buyjapanesse cars, keep up the miantenece they run forvere!

sorry for the typing, im frustrated, have nmo money, i mean no money , and a dying car!

Damn, Brian. Couldn't keep the car running decent for more than a week this time, huh? Give me a call the next time you're free, and I'll try to stop by to lend you a hand and look things over.

In the meantime...have you checked your cam timing? The stumble / low vacuum / glowing manifold / poor idle you describe could definitely be the result of the timing belt jumping a few teeth...

thats what im thinking right now.
i use my key to umpo the engien over close to where i want the it to be to check it, i can see the cam mark through the hole in the ciover and the crank reads like past 30 dgress retarded, so ill try to match things up, .

If the cam timing had jumped that far by just driving it, I'd spring for a new belt and tensioner. I had a tensioner disintegrate on me on the interstate once. The car just started running like ass. I get home and the only thing holding it all together was the plastic timing belt cover [Image: biggrin.gif]
