Damn, Brian. Couldn't keep the car running decent for more than a week this time, huh? Give me a call the next time you're free, and I'll try to stop by to lend you a hand and look things over.

In the meantime...have you checked your cam timing? The stumble / low vacuum / glowing manifold / poor idle you describe could definitely be the result of the timing belt jumping a few teeth...

thats what im thinking right now.
i use my key to umpo the engien over close to where i want the it to be to check it, i can see the cam mark through the hole in the ciover and the crank reads like past 30 dgress retarded, so ill try to match things up, .

I'm in the cam timing camp on this one. Fix the GF problem then fix the car! [Image: biggrin.gif]

If the cam timing had jumped that far by just driving it, I'd spring for a new belt and tensioner. I had a tensioner disintegrate on me on the interstate once. The car just started running like ass. I get home and the only thing holding it all together was the plastic timing belt cover [Image: biggrin.gif]
