My dad's T Bird

Hey guys and gals. So some of you old breed may already recognize my last name, some may not. My dad used to be a fairly prominent fixture on this site a little over a decade ago (Dan Eaves). Some of you may just remember the car. '88 Vermilion Red with gold and black pinstriped flames and gold and silver honeycomb wheels.

In any case, my dad developed some serious health issues involving his foot which has impeded his ability to stand for long periods of time, let alone work on the car. As of right now, the T Bird has been sitting for the better part of a decade and he's agreed to finally let me have it!! (Woohoo!) This car has been in my life for most of my life and I'm elated that I have the opportunity to restore it and set it up the way I want it set up.

It's going to take a lot of time, effort, and money to get it running again (possibly even a donor car) but I'm looking forward to the process as well as tapping this invaluable wealth of information here. Look forward to talking with you guys and hopefully, one day, meeting up with you all!

Cheers!

I have been around here since 2000, and I sure do remember your dad! I met him at Carlisle a number of years ago. Please give him my best, and I hope he gets better!!!
