My console control panel.....

I'm going to be installing a passenger side power seat in the Sport. I got the seat track, harness and control panel.Everything is great except the control panel. It's scuffed, scratched, and in general, ugly.I removed the aluminum insert panel (VERY carefully....they are easily bent).I then stripped it to bare metal, smoothed a couple of tiny dents and painted it,applied the markings I had made for me,then applied a protective coating. I didn't apply the little white lines for the seat switches,I liked it better without them. Here's the results.......

Hey Z. Nope, not on yet. No time for anything.I'll get it painted eventually.I got distracted and have been working on other things. I installed the roller rockers last week, been working around the house a lot The job that pays me,and restoring (so to speak) the center console panel.I've had a lot of people PM me to do these panels.I'll probably start doing them for a little extra funds, but at a price that makes it affordable and worth it to folks.I've got a couple of single power seat panels I'm going to do as well. I hope to have the a/c equipment back on soon.I did get the replacement intake on.I used an explorer upper and removed the fins in a manner that allowed the Australian "FPV" emblem (Ford Performance vehicles) to be inlayed into it.Nice in my opinion.I also polished it for a little extra eye candy.LOL.

I appreciate the thumbs up from you guys.I can't find an NOS replacement,so,this was the next best thing I can do.It's not totally factory ,but nice enough that no-one would notice unless they are true T-Bird/Cougar guys.

I told some friend's I'd do theirs for $40.00 which includes return shipping in bubble wrap and well packaged.

I'm having more markings made tomorrow.I've got to get busy with them.As I stated above,I've got two single power seat panels I'm starting on tomorrow, then I'll go from there.I actually enjoyed the challenge of getting a nice overall look.
