Mustang spoiler/wing?!

Amen brother, Amen!!! I'm not sure what the "s" wing is, but if ya want it so bad, BUY IT!!! If it doesn't fit, alter it, or return it(a T-Bird is not a Mustang, ya know). Time to start using that "grey matter". Young Whipersnappers! (my kid used that on my the other day, I'm really part of the establishment now)
In fact, I've got a couple of wings here I thought would work(but decided I didn't like) I'll sell ya. Guess I shoulda asked for everyones' opinion before I bought 'em. [Image: wink.gif]

hybrid, what are you doing complaing about the "other boards" if you just bashed me and shiftless?! i asked the question so it would make it easier for me, thats what this board is about, i didnt ask about the sho wing, i asked about the S racing wing ( it looks like a stock 98 cobra wing a bit, for an earlier mustang) Nobody was bashin anybody, and shit for what me and shiftless said was just our opinion, Dont try to act like a hot head over nothing, i did that a few too many times on this board and it got me no where, "Aol" tough gets you no where

you guys shold really read the posts before replying. Hybrid commented on a post by Shiftless, He did not mention you other that a reference to you with the if he wants it buy, do some research etc. Is that bashing you?

If you read the very first response from Ford_Nation, he first responds to your question, and then points to a possible alternative, to give you something to consider, That is when one other commented on the SHO wing, after you recieved an answer. And ayway, isn't that what this board is about? helping others, If I post that my car won't start and I think its the fuel pump, is someone an asshole to tell me to check the ignition system just in case?

What Shiftless stated is not an opinion, but rather an admonishment, same as Hybrid did. An opinion is a personal perspective on a situation, idea, or object.

I can't speak for others but I am guessing you don't get a lot of reponses to a post like this because it is not an Idea that appeals to many of us, and therefor we have never looked into the possibility of doing what you ask about, and thus can offer nothing but opinions, which if they don't seem to agree with yours, makes us assholes if I remember the last post. Since we don't want to be thought of as assholes we don't comment.

Heres an opinion, and don't get mad because its just my opinion, Racing wings were made for Ricers. Mustang wings were made for Mustangs. The look very stupid on most of the cars that are sporting them, and those that aspire to have them have no taste. But hey, thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Thank you for making my point, A clearly stated opinion that doesn't agree with yours, and you want to bring someone down to race me.

Here's and idea....cut the CRAP with the attitudes. We are all here for help, to give help, and for the love of our cars. Except for a couple people on this site, no one knows each other. Knock off the childish remarks and comments so we don't have to scroll though posts of pissing matches!

For those of you young guys(teens to early 20's) that that don't have their head firmly planted in their rectum, I appoligize for the over-generalization. I gotta tell ya, kids are dumb as rocks(and yes some "kids" never grow up, they stay just as dumb for years). Where do you think "pull your head out of your ass" comes from? Tfal print out all your posts on this board, save 'em for 10-15 yrs, then read 'em. You'll see how dumb you were as a kid. If you had a few more years under your belt you might realize that the mustang wing might not fit, and probably won't(look under the trunk lid, are the inside braces the same? NO). Where are the bolts gonna go through the trunk lid? Are ya gonna smash the supports or cut holes through them? Or even worse glue the wing to the trunk!!!(that's what Garnett, Hybrid, and myself are trying to tell ya)

HAY!!!... I'm a "dumb kid"!!! 21 years old and am on my 3rd. TC! I don't like wings but my car has one, it was there when I got it!!! I am not dumb as a rock but I do agree with Wags88tc!!! We all make dumb mistakes, I wrote off a mint 88 tc when I was 19, YES a big mistake but I learned from it. Some times you must learn the hard way, like I did [Image: frown.gif] I say, with life comes mistakes and from your mistakes you must learn to gain knowledge to become wise. If you chose not to learn from your mistakes, it is then when you become dumb!
