Anyway, if they can't spell something right on a WORLDWIDE web page, then can they really make stuff right?

I saw a bit on custom mounts earlier today. They look great, when he can make a run of them. I have loads of time till i can get back to work. I may try to fab one myself ! (getting really bored here)

One time, in a pinch, I used 2 hockey pucks ( I'm a Canadian ) with 1/2" hole drilled in the centre, between the top and bottom steel sections, and a stab. bar link bolt to hold the assembly together. Worked great, but the vibration was unbearable. There are supposedly hydraulic centre sections available. I found this link here a while ago. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog....=FR28-2661

Have you contacted a Plastics Manufacturer in your area? I deal with a company here in Canada called Redwood Plastics. They manufacture synthetic "rubber" mounts for various applications in many industries. Basically a 2 part epoxy compound that comes in various hardness (durometer) ratings. I had an engine swap to do and they made the mounts (cast them) for a 3406 Cat diesel! They used the old steel portions, and poured new synthetic rubber between them for a new offset and height! The cost was not bad, as the epoxy can be made in small batchs.
There should be a Plastics Speciality manufacturer around your area that can do this for you. Take an old mount to them, they can test the hardness and build a mounts that are equal to the original. Perhaps even more vibration proof and tougher! And the bonus is that it comes in different colours as well. Not that I'm in to colours!!

Hey Martin. We still have to hook up. I'd like to know about this place for the motor mounts.
