In my opinion (and in this order) things to consider are:

1) Replace the Stock Airbox with a K&N Cone Filter (preferably in the Pass Fenderwell)

2) Gillis Adjustable Boost Control Valve

3) 3" Downpipe

4) T3 Turbo

5) Single 3" Cat-back Exhaust or Dual 2.5"

6) Ported E6 Exh Manifold

7) Ported Lower Intake Manifold (Upper also if you want)

8) Ported Head (larger valves are open to debate)

9) Larger Fuel Pump

10) Sub-frame Connectors

The turboford website has some good info too...

It's $45.00 for the kit including parts, instructions, and shipping. Good deal!

Hey Dan E, when you told the guy about the K&N and said preferrably in the pass. fender, why did you say that? So he wouldn't just mount the filter on the end of the VAM? I have mine routed in front of the radiator, is there any downfall in performance to have the big K&N cone routed that far away from the VAM? Just wondering...

I've been wondering about that a lot myself. I've currently got my k&n right on the VAM but have noticed it gets awfully hot in there. There's much cooler air inside the fender, but wouldn't the longer distance between the VAM and the k&n hurt throttle response at least a tiny bit?

Throttle response doesn't care how far away the filter is from the VAM as long as supply is adequate. Colder is better and either in front of the radiator support wall
or the passenger fender works. If you look at the layout you will realize that the fender pretty much gets its air from the front of the car, what comes up through the bottom.
Where throttle response starts to suffer is with really long routing of plumbing from the turbo, through the IC and back to the throttle body. Before the compressor doesn't matter.
