Well I put the new wideband sensor it deffinectlt helps out a lot. That's how I found the boost.leak by spraying Carb cleaner on the egr and watched the gaugevand sure enough it went richer than it was running ill get more numbers after the snow passes. I did check fuel pressure and the tps
Fuel was 30 psi with the vacuumed and 39 paid without. Toshiba was 93-94 at idle 750 rpms and 1k with iat. Things r looking good thanks so far guys.

Is the car running 100+% with the stock EEC IV system? No offence, but I hope you arent getting in over your head.

OK best way to describe how I'm going to get the megasquirt to plug and play is I'm doing basically the samething the kit does I'm making a male plug wired exactly the same pin out as a la3. So that the wiring harness plug plugs right in as if its the stock ecu

what?

i read something about ford certified, unless hes been ford cerified for 25+ years, that doesnt mean hes going to be a master on these cars. i'm ford certified and the only reason i know these cars is because i own one.

I would say he has probably 12-13 yrs. Wit Ford he knows hus squirts though so either way way. But I did find the issue of stallion and sputtering was the valve seals

boosted85, you need to get that car running right, before going to MS. A switch, to MS will not fix your problems, they have to be sorted out before the swap, as the ECU being your problem is highly unlikely. Without sorting out your drivability issue first you will only create tuning headaches, and end up chasing your tail.
I suggest you spend some time over on TF and do much research before attempting the MS swap. There are several very knowledgable MS guys over there. WessK is one of the best MS guys on TF, you should pick his brain, he will not lead you in the wrong dirrection, he also is very good with EEC-IV.
I am very much a pro MS person, I just do not feel it would be the save all that you are looking for. My current build will use MS, it also will be getting all new sensors and wiring harness as the car had issues before being torn down.

Whoa, I said the valve seal are contributing to your crankcase pressurization problem, and they're what's causing the oil smoke on startup. I didn't say they'd fix the stumbling and stalling problem. You still need to track that issue down.

Jangus I know that u said that but was reading up on it and it can cause idling issues and other issues coming down to idle regardless they need replaced. OK u say I need to get it running right but where do I start the only sensors I haven't replaced recently is the o2 which I replaced last year but I will replace today the pip and tfi is there something else that causes issues maybe the act?
