Who is in for the the Mason Dixon Ford Show on August 27th?

It looks like I am finally home for a while, and need something to get me motivated to get the new car sorted out. This looks like good timing for me, so who is in? I would plan to go down Saturday to spend the night, Race Sunday, then home. I would plan to run the Pro Ford class unless they call a two step electronics (weird calls on that one), then its Trophy Ford for me.

Haven't been able to do much this season so I too could use a little "push". I'm working out an issue with the dailydriver soon to be donor for the street/strip car...will probably use just the shortblock from the driver and put all the other pieces from the other onit...should be an interesting 3 weeks!!! I'm gonna make every effort to be there! Good to hear you'll be home for a while...how long if ya don't mind the asking...

I really dont know right now....The plan is to go back mid September for about 6 more weeks and finish, but if anything crash's and burn's between now and then......well, I could be on a plane in about 24 hours. That's why my life sucks right now.

We are on Garry, I'm working to make this show, its going to be busy for me to make it too, but I've got to have a date in mind or else it will just sit. I need to swap rears, swap clutch, and start tuning again. I think I have the base tune pretty well worked out, but may make a big change here and be all messed up Wink I'm just looking for mid 12's this year so I should be able to find that pretty easy. At least it looks fast Big Grin

Gentlemen,

As it is I don't know any of you other than Steve Choma, but please feel free to join us at the Track that day. As I have already posted, you guys are more than welcome to join us for our Summer Blast event listed under your events site.

There will likely be between 20-30 MN12 Tbirds, Cougars, SC's etc there for the 2nd day of our event weekend at the track that day. I also have a class for Just Thunderbirds, Cougars, Lincolns SHO's, Maurauders so you can run with us in our own bracket class.

For more information check out our site at www.mamn12.com, calendar of events section, Summer blast. You may as well make a weekend of it and we'd be glad to have you. If any futher information is needed contact me at [email protected].

I think I am in for Sunday. The car hasn't been to the track yet, but it is about ready. The studs on the turbo keep backing out even with blue loctite. I didn't want to use red but might have to.

I doubt they will like my Capri in that class Wink Heck, I cant even fit in with the other outcasts any more Big Grin

Hope you can make it too Doug. If I'm not fast, I should still be able to go some rounds in the brackets Big Grin

I was hopin you'd chime in Doug! Maybe motormenace can show...don't know about natmac...will say somethin to him . How about if we're all NOT FAST we help the closest to FAST to go faster... Bob I hope you get til Sept! I'm chasin a miss/buck at tip in and kinda narrowed it down to TFI/PIP wires(engine harness) "electrical noise" or possibly injector(s)and maybe ground issues. If it ends up I cant find/fix it I'll pull this motor(son curbed car drivers side and rail deformed into firewall)put the goodies from the street/strip car on it and away I'll go...maybe good maybe not...we'll see...
