Wanted to convert the TC to manual steering, will a fox mustang manual rack fit?

my guess is not. i'm not 100 % positive, but the track width is different between the two cars iirc. however you MIGHT be able to change inner tie rod ends. but i don't even know if that would work. just thinking out loud.

i ran a mustang rack for 4 years, it worked. i dunno why, but i think our outer tie rods are longer.

the outer tie rods are longer on '87-'88, otherwise the racks are interchangeable. i am using a power rack as a manual rack on my drag car. just fill it with PS fluid and loop the hoses.
