There is a kit to install electronic maf convertor for talons and mitus. on evilbay. Looks intersting. Is there any Wiz Kidz that know about this kinda thing. Wonder if it could be used on eec's. It uses gm parts . was on "Full speed's " store site. Any one know if the talons used VAMs ?

My son put one on his Laser AWD Turbo. It worked as it said it would. I think to use it you would still have to be tuning the EEC, so there are better options for TurboFords.

DSMs used MAFs. What those guys do is use the larger GM MAFs on their cars.
It might work with a Ford...but...as mentioned there are better options. To make it work you'd have to go through a lot of trial and error and you'd probably be one of few...if not the only one using it.
