where would be a good place to look for some springs to drop my 88 TC an inch or two

if the springs from the Xr will work (i dont see why they wont) my friend has some that he never used and is to lazy to put them on if you wanna buy them... i think theyre a 2" drop

Apparently ,you are not that familiar with the workings of the car you are so fond of.The front of the XR has actual struts(coils mounted right on the shocks)and the rear is an IRS.The T/C's have regular coil springs set up at all four corners, so they are not even close.Just about the only things the XR shares with the Turbo Coupe/Cougar and the Mustang is the engine and engine management,very little else if anything willl swap.Unlike the T/C and the Mustangs, which share a lot of parts...trannys,rears,suspension,brakes,wheels....etc.So long story short,no,they won't work.

Boy, I see xr4t1 is off to a incredible start at these forums. I feel as if I'm watching one of those old films from the German war machine, trying to launch rockets, they go straight up, then come crashing back down in a huge explosion.
Xr4t1, a little advice, use this forum as tool to learn, don't be a tool. Nobody knows more about these 2.3 turbo's then these fine gents. Thanks for the entertainment.;-)
