My automatic ride control and shocks still work fine on my 88 5spd. (YAY!)
My question is, can the car be lowered in front or back without messing the ride control feature. I really just need to drop the front down. I current run 255/40-17's up front and 275/40-17's in back, yet it still has alot of room.

yeah, you can lower it alittle and it will not hurt the PRC components.
If your just lowering the front, I recommend stock height Mustang springs. Use years 94-04 and leave the rubber isolators out. You should sit pretty.

Hey "goldwing", that's a big spread from '94-'04 on stock mustang springs. Is any of those years better than one of another year? Like is '98 better than 2002? Just wanted to know before I order them.
Thanks

Nope. They are basically the same. Of course newer is better for obvious reasons. I have a set of front springs from a 2002 GT with 52K. Shipping is around $20. I'll take $30 shipped if your interested.

Thanks for the offer. I live beside a flock of Stangs guys and they want to trade me some springs for something out of my spare T-Bird
