Lower intake coolant hose.

Might be a dead end question but does anyone know if there are replacement hoses for the lower intake coolant bypass hose. I don’t want to delete it since I do drive the car in colder weather.

Hey, there's a relatively new thread on here that discusses replacement of the coolant lines. Another user listed part numbers on Page 1; https://turbotbird.com/thread-replacemen...lant-hoses

To be perfectly honest, you can use any suitable coolant hose. I replaced mine with regular coolant hose and it's been just fine.
88 Turbo Coupe: Front mount intercooler, MGW short throw shifter, full coilover conversion, tubular control arms front and rear, svo front brakes, vacuum assist brake swap, manual steering swap, GT35R turbo with external gate, pimpx ecu, 60lb injectors, 3 core aluminum radiator, Boport 1.5 cam, gutted upper, corbeau fixed back seats, and the list goes on.

Thank you for the reply. Looks like gates sells a very similar replacement.

They do, and IIRC, they only list it for the XR4Ti application, which obviously, there aren't very many of those existing. But it's clearly identical to the original T-bird hose.
