lower intake ?

i have an 88 intake with both of the sensors on the lower for the knock and act. on the 86 it has the lower sensor firewall side and another on the left fender side on the boss that is blank on the 88. hope i explained the location ok. what is the difference? i want to use the 86 because its better than new condition.

The 86 lower has the knock sensor on the side, pointed towards the fender and isn't tapped for the ACT ssensor. The upper is taller then the 87-88. Other then that it bolts up.

I think the sensor for the fan is also on the 86 lower as well as the KS. Not 100 % on that
