Lost screw in valve cover

I was changing the VC gasket the other day. While I had the cover off, I noticed that one of the screws to holds the splash plate in the VC was missing. It was the one for the rear breather.

Anyone have this happen to them? Would the oil flow be such that it might end up in the pan?

I was thingking of trying a magnetic oil plug and hope for the best.

Thanks,
Bill
