so the fuel pressure gauge shows hardly any movement... it barely flickered the needle. Pulled the pump and found a nice hole (see pic link) in the rubber hose that attaches to the fuel pump... that was easy : )

Installed my new Walbro 255 and pressure gauge hit 35psi on idle... nice!

took her for a quick ride and the stumble on top end is gone, smooth power all the way up.. reeeeealy nice!!!


hardest part of the whole job... putting the F@#%ing cap back onto the fuel rail schader valve.


Next on the list of HP upgrades... Larger exhaust?

Congrats on getting it fixed. The hose spitting if a common occurrence.

Yeah I can't remember when I installed a cheap 3rd party pump about 7 years ago if the hose was replaced or not. So its either an original hose which is impressive or a 7yr old one from auto zone which would be pretty sad. But all said and done I needed the Walbro 255 regardless. This incident just pushed me too get er done. Hopefully this new hose that came with the Walbro pump holds up.
