Okay so i had a boost controller installed on my car max psi for controller was 10 ironically so i took it off and hooked up the stock boost control solenoid and put it back to stock set up. i was geting on the freeway and my buddy in the passinger seat goes oh let me feel the turbo kick! so i got on in 2nd and gunned it it pumped 18 pounds back and forth to 15 like stock i only took it to 4 grand and then put it in 3rd pumped a solid 10 till 4 1/2 grand then i missed 4th and it reved it 4 3/4 grand. ive never taken it over 4 1/2 grand before and then after i missed 4th the turbo no longer works!!!! im pumping 0 its like a stock 2.3 non turbo! im scared i blew it!no check anything lights are on so i disconected the stock bcs and pluged the ports from that to see it the waste gate would run 10 running just by its self with no bcs or controller and nothing. i get maybe 2-4 psi at 3-4 grand my hoses are fine no leaks. please help! i just drove it home and that was it.

So regardless of what the gauge is actually reading out now, it won't build any boost? You actually tried to build boost after this happened and it won't?

I mean pretending the gauge doesn't exist at all... you can actually feel the car has lost substantial power?

Did the line supplying boost pressure to the gauge just pop off maybe? I hear that happens a lot.

You said you never take it above 4,500 RPM but this time you took it to 4,750 by mistake...correct? I would bet tons and tons of money that 250 RPM did NOT hurt your engine or turbo...

I'm guessing the boost line popped off. (the one going to the gauge)

I believe you do have a hose that couples the pipe from the compressor outlet to the throttle body that should be checked.

I'm going to agree with rdog. I have had my fair share of wastegate arm failure, usually its the clip holding it to the actual valve.

The clip is on the upper side of the rod as it fits through the pivot arm from the bottom. Kind of hard to see. My experience with the clips is that they are aerodynamically superior to anything our military has.
