im having surging problems around 5000 rpm's, it surges and then if i get off the gas it kills. ive been ive got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and green injectors. i bought the car this way. What do you guys think the best pressure would be for green injectors? and do any of you think that could cause the surging? i can adjust the pressure so that it surges at 5000, if i go leaner or richer it will surge at lower rpms

Mark, If you got an 87, you need brown top injectors. Forget screwing around with fuel pressure and get the right injectors.

Mark, Sit in the front passenger seat. Move your right foot as far to the right as it will go. Remove the panel that stops your right foot. Get code # off computer behind panel. . Should be a number something like LA2 or LB2 depending stick or automatic. If it is one of those two it is set up for brown tops, like all 87-88 came from the factory.
