I live on Long Island in the state of New York. Is anyone aware of a local chapter of owners of turbo coupes? Are there any meetings of the organization anywhere?

NATO does not have any local chapters as the number of TCs still on the road is relatively small. Personally, I havent seen another TC or any other FOX platform Tbird for that matter on the road or in the junk yards here is SE Wisconsin for at least 10 to 15 years.

We do typically have 20+ TCs show up for the Carlisle PA Ford Nationals in early June every year. NATO has a 20 foot x 20 foot tent with chairs, tables etc for members to hang out in and our own row of "TC only" parking. If you have never been to the Carlisle Ford Nationals, consider coming to Carlisle 2021. Carlisle cant be more than a couple hundred miles from Long Island. I guarantee you will have a GREAT time there!!! Google CARSATCARLISE for information.

At this point the closest thing you might find is a Foxbody Mustang group.

There's one in Connecticut that I belong to that it is fun for car meets and stuff.

Nunnaro, I second what Jeff says, there are so little of our cars still kicking around, local chapters would probably be a one person group. I live near Syracuse, so at least you and I are in the same state! You definitely need to make it to Carlisle for the Ford nationals, I have been going off and on over the years since I was about 10, it is still a rush to walk through the gates when I go.
