After I had the seats reupholstered, I discovered that the racks for the 8-way adjustable Lincoln LSC front buckets are not the same size as the T-Bird. Does anyone have any simple ideas on how to make them work?

When you say racks what exactly are you referring to? The tracks where they mount to the floor? Can you swap in the parts from tbird seats?

I always liked the LSC seats and was considering this mod also. Are the seats any wider than the stock TC seats?

The tracks that mount the seat to the floor. The Lincoln tracks are longer than the T-Bird's.

Didn't say how much longer. Without seeing it, the first thing that comes to mind is a solid piece of steel to bridge the gap. Drill one end to mount to the floor. Drill the other end and use a bolt to attach the lsc track.

My first option is going to be to swap the Lincoln tracks out for T-Bird tracks. But, I first have to find a set of T-Bird seats because the shop which had mine unexpectedly closed without informing me and the landlord tossed everything in the garbage when they cleared it out for the new tenant!
