Lighted Console Panels Revisited

So the panel I made for my bird is still working great - no issues so far. I have attached the image of it again for those who don't remember or didn't see the original post. I'm thinking again about making the plates available to those who wanted one. I don't know what I did with my PM's from people who "got dibs" on one, but I don't have them anymore so if you sent me a PM about it, please send another one. It won't be super soon that I will be able to ship any out because I just don't have the time right now. Anyways - this is not a sale ad. When it comes time to sell some I'll post it in the classifieds.

What I'm wondering now is how I should sell them. I can certainly sell just the plates and let the buyer do the rest, but it has been suggested that I sell them as a "kit" which would include the plate & necessary lighting panels. I suppose I would also modify the power supply in the "kit" to power all three panels. Either way, detailed instructions would be included as there is a lot of work required to get everything cut, bent, and installed correctly.

So what do yous guys think? Just the plate, or "kit"? I will tell you this - I think the green backlighting would probably have to be the most expensive. Red and Blue panels are super easy to find - green panels not so much, and they as such they end up being more expensive.

I love the kit idea...but wouldn't mind at all (when I have money again) buying the panel, detailed instructions and links to places to purchase the lighting modules.

Was it hard to make?... no, but a lot of hours involved in figuring out how to do it and testing.

It's a great idea to sell as a plug and play kit, as was mentioned. We are all about convenience nowadays, and I think people would be willing to pay a little more for something that is "no assembly required", you know? I'd be in for a blue one.
