Just got an 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
Turn signals don’t work figured it was just a bulb
turns out there is one missing! On the driver side and it seam like there is also a secondary plug missing because the bulb did not fit into the socket that is there. The socket assembly on the left side is different than the right side. I got a socket assembly like the right side with a pig tail to just replace it but it’s a lot different than what’s there. Can anyone help, I am thinking there is a secondary socket I need!!

Can you explain a little more on what you mean by secondary socket? A picture maybe?

From what I can tell that looks the same as what's on my 88.

Thanks I figured out the issues , it’s a different socket that takes a different style 1157A bulb! One CD socket takes the new style plug in 1157A bulb vs the old style twist in 1157A bulb, and it was done on 2 of each on the car . No standard
