I believe that goes to the ABS exciter ring sensor, but I could be wrong.

That is your ABS sensor wire; being completely broken you should have a continuous ABS light. Two ways to fix it - (1) splice a new cable between sensor and plug. Use RG-58 coax with a stranded center wire, not solid center or (2) Get a new sensor somewhere.
If you're OK with soldering/splicing/insulating, that route works fine. BTDT.

yea it unplugs from behind the shock tower the nut on the front for the sensor is 8mm once the bolt is out it might take a bit of wiggling to get it out of the hole in the back plate. If you tried to pull codes from the abs eec chances are it wouldnt let you and as Joe F said a constant yellow light should be on all the time.
If you need that wheel sensor I have it, shoot me a pm if needed

Use Joes repair method. I do know that rear sensors are obsolete, and NO ONE has any available. Dont know about the availability on the fronts, but if you can even find a new one, expect to pay over $200 for it.
