UPDATE: WWW.SHINYLENSES.COM !!!!
___________________________________

Hey guys, been awhile since my crew found the best method for making lights look new. (Read: not better, NEW) there is a special plastic polish that must be used, other wise the results are less than perfect. The restoration crowd first found this stuff for making interior plastics look new, but I found it through a musical instrument restorer. I was sure it would discolor clear, but to my surprise, it doesn't. It is by far and away the best method for clearing the headlamp covers, better than off the shelf products such as plastix, and longer lasting then wax.

Anyways, imp now set up to do core exchanges, or service only if you can park your car for the turnaround time. Should be about a week plus ship time. (ATTENTION: exchange service is limited to stock, which is always low)

headlights come out looking factory. Corner lenses even better, and I can even make them clear without disrupting the factory glue. I haven't found anything that holds as well as the ford stuff, so I prefer not to disassemble them.

Things I can't fix/wont count as cores:
-chipping/faded chrome backing. This applied mostly to headlights, but the corners lose it as well. I will clean them and send them back, but for the exchange the chrome must be intact.
-Cracks in lenses/housing.
-Burn marks.
-Deep scratches (deeper than 1/32).

Again, all of this is fine if you want me to service your lights, but I will not accept cores with these defects.

ATTENTION: Due to Shop costs and Turbo Coupe front light availability, and quality improvements (I bought more tools...LOL) the price for head and Corner light restoration went up a little. As always, mention Turboford or NATO for a 5% discount. Shipping flat rate was also restructured a bit cause I was losing my butt on flat rate. Thank you for your continued business.

Service list:

-remove yellow, cloudiness and scratches (less than 1/32), polish and shine head light to original condition. $45 per set plus shipping, with acceptable core.

-Remove yellow, cloudiness and scratches (less than 1/32), polish and shine outer corner light to original condition. $30 per set plus shipping, with acceptable core.

-Remove scratches and discoloring from inner corner lens. These tend not to yellow, but they do fade and they look much better if they get polished with the rest of the set. $20 per set when added to order, with acceptable core, plus shipping.

-Remove amber lens in corner light without disrupting ford glue. $15 per pair plus shipping, with acceptable core.

-Special: full set of cleaned and polished lights (set of 6) with acceptable core, $80 plus return shipping.

-Clear special: purchase a full (set of 6) and get the clear corner service done for only $10.

Clears:

core prices: if you don't have good cores.
-Headlights $40 per seat, or $20 each.
-Corner lenses $40 per set (2).
-Inner corners $50 per set. (These are difficult to find)

-full set special: full set (6) of ready to bolt on lights. No cores required. $230 plus shipping.

I’ve seen the prices for new lights, and imp pretty confident no one can find a full set of like new lights for under $150. This is a cheap solution to daily drivers and show cars alike.

ATTENTION: Due to Shop costs and tail light availability, and quality improvements (I bought more tools...LOL) the price for tail light restoration went up a little. As always, mention Turboford or NATO for a 5% discount. Shipping flat rate was also restructured a bit cause I was losing my butt on flat rate. Thank you for your continued business.

TAILLIGHT SERVICE: these get NASTY. It’s amazing how much dirt can be found with even a simple clean, but the best way to make them really look like new it to disassemble them. I clean them inside and out with a special blend of glass and plastic cleaners, then cut/buff the scratches out of the outer lens. The result is incredible. The lights can look old, faded, scuffed and marred, and come back looking ALMOST NOS.

Clean and polish a set of YOUR tails: $100 plus shipping.

Send a set of cleaned and polished tails: $200 plus shipping. ($50 refundable core included, return quality core lights back to me and get $50 back) this is for daily drivers who cant afford not to have lights for 2 weeks.

I can also sell a set ready to go for about $230, Shipped.

RESULT: before

after (never mind the black stripe, this was a customers special request, and at night it looks rather cool!)

No, they don't fit. '87/'88 Thunderbird lenses are unique to that car alone.
