Will installing LED headlights and fog lights take some of the electrical load of the headlight switch thus negating the need to install relays?

I think in theory it should since it requires less power to run, but I'll leave that to the pros. perhaps Jeff K can answer that more appropriately.
that said, I tried LED headlights in my TC and the scatter was horrible...and these were some of the best LEDs on the market - not cheap, about $160 for a set:

My 88 TC and 86 Tbird 5.0 are both 100% interior and exterior LED lighting. Incandescent headlight draw around 10 amps, LED headlights draw about 3 amps, negating the need for headlight relays.

The brand was LASFIT and I just looked on amazon and they are no longer avail... there are plenty of other brands on there that would be the same , just maybe diff price.

I bought a set of Lasfit too last year. The headlights work very well in low beam, but my lenses are in bad shape and the high beam diffuses all over the place.
Only thing I have noticed with the LED is it triggers my low beam light is out light about 15 seconds after turning on the headlights. It is not out.

yea it triggers the system sentry to show that a low beam or taillight is out but to me, no biggie. and same as you, the high beams are worthless but the low beams are so bright I don't need to use my brights
I just wish I could get my foglights to work
