ever since i put in my BBK 255 (same as walbro 255), my car has been running fairly smooth except at high boost, the knock sensor will go off and then the car sounds like a lawnmower

do i NEED a kirban adjustable FPR, or should i buy a fuel pressure guage first to test it? will the fuel pressure guage tell me if my FPR is bad or not?

the fuel pressure guage is $40, and the Kirban AFPR is $70, so I assume i will need the guage to set my kirban aFPR properly to 39 or 40psi

You do need the gauge to set the adjustable FPR. A gauge would also diagnosis you current
FPR.
