how different is the suspention and spindle setup from the v8 87bird and the 87 turbocoupe. i have to convert my v8 bird to either a svo mustang 4lug spindle or a turbocoupe spindle. which is easier and what other parts will be needed for the project. if anyone could talk me through it id appreciate it. 716-603-1817 thanks alot

there all 4 lug but the brake kit i bought is made for mustang spindles but was told by willwood that they will fit turbocoupe or svo spindles. but i heard that the v8 spindle is thicker and between the turbocoupe there might be a difference in strut mounting.

The V8 spindle is set up for smaller brakes. Same as the 4 cylinder mustang.

The SVO mustang is 5 lug, using Mark VII parts.

The V8 bird spindle has a thicker strut mount if that's what you're talking about. To make your struts work with Turbo Coupe spindles, just use washers.

Make sure we're all talking about the same spindles however since the previous thread was talking about V8 Mustang spindles and Turbocoupe Spindles, which are the same parts.
