I ordered the 95a pa alternator. Pete mentioned in one of the other posts about possibly there being a problem down the line in the harness with the power wire from the alt. output being it gets sooo hot. Do you need to have the original wire still in place if you use the #4 wire from pa that goes directly to the solenoid? As near as I can tell, the only thing that would be different is that the amp meter that doesn't work anyway wont work. lol. I really don't like that original wire and God knows what it will melt along with it in the harness if it melts down. Can I just snip it at the ring terminal and seal it off and just use the #4 wire right to the solenoid? Any ill effects from this? Thanks... Chuck
