Does anyone know which Koni shocks and struts fit the 87-88 turbo coupe birds?

347,
From what I have gathered on here,as I have been looking for some Konis as well, is that the 94-04 Mustang GT shocks and struts fit. However, for the rear shocks, you will have to use some of the modified shock mounts, available here  https://tbirdcougarparts.com/  , he is a member on here as well. For the Konis I ordered from Maximum Motorsports along with some adjustable lower control arms and a set of Thunderbird specific caster camber plates,  https://www.maximummotorsports.com/Koni-C389.aspx . I ordered the STR-T's from Koni, but Maximum also has the yellows, not totally sure about the Red's you are looking for. Hope this helps

I have the koni str.t (orange) struts and shocks waiting to go on my 87 TC...hopefully soon.

Kuch is right regarding the mustang shock brackets. the tbird factory shocks are 2-3in longer than the factory mustang shocks. these brackets will lower the mounting point for the mustang shocks and help bridge that 2-3in gap difference. they're also way stronger than the factory brackets.

I got the new suspension in including Koni str t shocks, struts, maximum motorsports caster/camber plates, energy susp sway bar bushings and sway bar end links and there is a world of difference! I thank this website for a lot of material to read and the good guys that are willing to chime in and give some advice when needed. there was a video on here doing the suspension so I just followed along... it was great
