I updated the title to reflect the current status. Go to last post.

My car has been progressively running worse. It has been missing and stalling at stops.

Thought that a bad alternator regulator fried the tfi. Swapped them out and remote mounted it.

It is still running bad and it is pinging and knocking under all conditions except idol. The idol is really rough. Timing is set at 10 degrees without spout. With the spout in at idol it's at almost 30????

No running of codes yet. Ran out of time last night.

Has Walbro 255hp, Kirban at 40psi, vac lines good, 130amp alt,

Fuel pump, reg, alt all done after first problem started.

Could be an air leak (anything before the throttle body-VAM hose, IC hoses) or a vacuum leak- anything after the throttle plate.
Since it seems OK at idle, I'd be looking at the air leak side of things. Take the VAM and IC hoses OFF and examine them 360*, inch by inch. Check any other hoses, vacuum lines. Work your way through the vacuum side. Pull off and block the vac feed line from the upper intake to the vac tree. If things improve then the problem is with one of the systems fed by the vac tree.

We'll. It is now worse. I recorded the knocking. It was only happening under a load but now I got it to do it siting still. Timing and fuel pressure is good. Checked for leaks twice and it seems good. It won't idol now. I swapped vams. That didn't work. Going to go try it again here after dinner.

Don't know how to post videos on here.

you have to upload the video to youtube, photobucket, etc. and post the link. We can't do it directly to the board.

I will do that when I come in/give up.

I have closely looked at all of the vac lines. All the IC and VAM hoses and they are good. I replaced some vac line too. As far as I can tell, spark, air and fuel are good.

FP went up to 35 when key was turned on. Sine it wont idol at the moment that is all I can get. It smells rich anyway.

I think, like posting pictures, you will have to upload the video to a third party site and then link to that in a post.

Have you pulled codes, read the plugs, checked compression. even do a bleed down test?

And this problem was nonexistent before the faulty voltage regulator incident, right?

Well. The stalling was there. It progressively got to this. Just putt it all back together with new plugs. Still doesn't run. Still no codes. Old plugs look fine.

Timing belt jump tooth?
Ecu fried?

What is easiest way to check the timing belt?
