Can anyone tell me what color the knock sensor plug is?There are two plugs side by side,one is grey the other is black.They are taped around each other,someone must have played with this wiring before because the protective plastic is cut which is supposed to surround the wires...

Are they currently connected to anything? The KS itself is the one closer to your face as you lean over to look at the backside of the lower intake where both the KS and the ACT reside

Both plugs are still connected. I cant tell what one is closer to my face though,because they are both wire tied and taped to each other..Thats why i hoped i would be able to tell by the color of the plug itself...

On my 88, both connectors look black. However the ACT has a purple wire going to it and the KS has a yellow wire going to it

ok,so i thought i figured out which plug it was...It had alot less wires in it than the other,and it had a bright yellow,but when i disconnected it i noticed i lost my oil pressure guage?Plugged it back in & its ok??Guess i still havnt been able to locate this knock sensor??lol

I finally found it!Now htf do i unplug it?It looks like its going to be difficult to get at?Thankx for the help.

Just gently lift the clamp and back it off.
