Hi guys, when I punch in my code on the key pad to unlock the doors the interior lights illuminate but the power locks don't pop up.Even when I press the last 2 buttons to lock the doors nothing happens. When I try locking and unlocking the doors with the interior buttons they work fine. What do you guys think is happening ?thanks Philip

Have you disconnected the battery recently? Sounds like your module has failed. You probably already know this, but I'll write it out anyhow - The keyless entry systems light up the interior lights upon any button being pushed. or door handle being raised. There's a module in the trunk's aux tray on the driver's side - these all have a factory code, originally included on a tag in the owner's manual and on the black plastic control module itself. A user can program a custom one, but this gets erased if the battery power is lost to the control module. Normally, even if this occurs, pushing the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons simultaneously will still LOCK the doors even if no custom code has been programmed (by the way, the factory code always works, even if a custom code is programmed). If you've checked fuse #8 good - also powers the clock, key warning, power mirrors, courtesy lamps and chime etc. then I would suspect the module has failed.
