Its strange you are having this much trouble. I run 22 psi regularly, tossed that stupid bracket a long time ago, and have never had one pop off. I've never really done anthing special either, I geuss I'm lucky

I'm confused because there is only about 1 to 2 inches between the intercooler and the turbo - and throttle body, so if you have the bracket on where is the hose going to go besides leak past a clamp or split. can't see how a hose (and intercooler) would pop off if you do use the clamp.

lol its just my luck! hmm are u using an SVO housing or a modded TC one? mines a modded TC one and it doesnt line up great with the intercooler, i dunno i think my clamps might be junk im gonna get new ones tomorrow. if i cant make due with the stock style clamps im gonna buy t bolts and throw the bracket away. i cant believe the intercooler blows off this easy, i had a lot of trouble with it even when i had the IHI on, one night at the track the IC blew off every run, had to have the car pushed off the track!.

seems to hold better but the botom one is still slipping. grr
Doh! Just remembered, your compresser outlet was ground out of a flange style. What does it look like on the end? The SVO style housing has a really bold rib on the end to hold it on. I suspect a T-bolt clamp might be your friend.

Maybe you need to reclock the compressor housing so the outlet lines up with the IC better

I also run 22# with the T4 57 trim and have no problems without the bracket.

What I did was put a groove in the IC inlet and outlet. before clamping everything down. I took a file and grooved a lip in each outlet. Never blew off even at 22 psi.
