I just bought this car off of Craigslist last week. Its a 1988 TC 5spd. The car has 60k on rebuilt engine and 6k on rebuilt turbo. The car is pretty clean inside and out for an all orginal 25 year old car. It has 120k on it. The guy was selling it because it had several issues such as the assist for the brakes did not work and multiple gauges did not work. I bought the car for $700.00 and thanks to this forum I fixed the car for $46.00. I took a gamble on the brakes that the Theves unit was not bad, knowing I could convert it if it was. I drove it to my shop hard brakes and all and used the information on this site to diagnose and test the brake system which led me to replacing the ignition switch and the connector and all systems are working now, brakes, gauges and air conditioning. So now for $750.00 I have a clean and very nice 1988 TC just thought you guys would like to know that in keeping this site going and posting the technical topics it helped me fix this car easily thats why I became a member Thanks!! From what I can see in the little photo it looks like you scored a nice TC. At $750 bucks you got a steal! Post some better pix soon, I'd like to see it up close.

Sweet deal. Adding an inter cooler would help it a little.

Im sure the original owner just swapped the whole thing after the IHI failed... Any ways please keep the boost around 13psi with premium...or 10psi on 87 octane.

Good find.
