We have owned:

12 Fords, 7 Chevys, 4 Dodges, 3 Olds, 2 Rambler Americans,
2 VW bugs, 1 Pontiac, 1 Plymouth, and 1 Toyota that a baby deer killed, the deer lived.

I can't remember all the cars I've bought(and sold) since my first one in 1966, lets just say it's somewhere north of 165, with a even dozen(or was it 13?) being '87/'88 Turbo Coupes... Most were Ford/Mercury, a few Chry & GM, with a splattering of AMC, VW, Datsun, Toyota, even a LeCar :dunno: and a Yugo...

Most fun have been my '69 428CJ Fairlane Cobra(owned since '73), my 5.0 ex TC Bird, and the Supercharged '03 Marauder I just recently sold...

BTW I have a older list somewhere with 141 on it but I'm sure a few were missing plus I've bought probably a dozen since...

BTW #2

Guess I should have listed at least some of my early rides...

#1 '57 Ford Sta Wagon(was hangin' with the surf crowd), 292 "Y" Block V8 with automatic... This one broke 120 MPH on the fresh ribbons of concrete that is now I-64 here in Chesapeake, at that time it wasn't open to the public(eh what's a barricade?? Just drive around it)... I had two parts '57 while I owned mine, one those was a 2dr Courrier(Fords version of Sedan Delivery) that are sought after these days...

#2 '62 Ford Sta Wagon(still running with those surf guys), 352 & automatic...

#3 '58 Ford Fairlane 500 with 352 Interceptor and auto, was the first I owned that had a little power...

#4 '64 Galaxie 500 fastback with 289 & three on the tree, had it approx 6 months and converted it to 390 4-speed... Eventually sold it to my ex father in law, was converted back to 3-speed but still had the 390... Also owned another 390 '64 Galaxie I bought for the front clip after wrecking this one...

#5 1960 VW bug that came with the first wife... Also had a wrecked '62 parts VW bought for it's engine...

#6 Another '64 Fastback 390, automatic, decided after approx four months I didn't like it, sold it and started driving the '64 stick car again...

#7 The '69 428 Cobra Jet that I still own...
http://amradio.freeiz.com/turbocoupe50/Cobra.jpg

Gets foggy after this point but some where along this time I had a '64 Ford Sta Wgn , and a '67 Mercury in thoughts of swapping engines(wound up junking both)... I also had a '67 Galaxie that I sold and took a wrecked but drivable '66 LTD as partial trade...

#8 '69 Country Sedan Sta Wgn with a sour 302(loose wrist pin) bought it in the summer of '74 for $125 and a used color tv(not everyone had a CTV, used ones were a easy sale)... Swapped the 390 from the '66 LTD into it... Was so big I hated it with a passion, so traded it on

#9 A '67 Falcon Sta wagon(by this time I had two kids) paid a difference of $75... It had 289, AT, P/S, P/B, A/C, vinyl seats, dual tail gate(swung out or down), but had rubber floor mat... I really liked this one, so after the C4 trans puked a second time, I swapped a 351 & FMX trans from a '69 Torino GT(another parts car I never drove)... There was also a '68 Falcon 289 pars car and '66 Plymouth somewhere along this time...

#10 1970 Galaxie 500 302 & three on the tree... Bare bones car didn't even have P/S, didn't take long to add that as it was a true tank to drive with the manual steering... BTW I was more than familiar with manual steering, neither my '64 or the '69 Cobra Jet had(have)P/S, though I'm now thinking about converting the '69... Also had a '70 Galaxie parts car, that donated it's frame(could write a page on that) & P/S...

Along this time I also had a 428CJ '69 Torino GT & another Cobra with 428, wound up parting both of those out along with 302, 390(2) and the 351 GT prev mentioned...

#11 '68 Cougar GTE with the Hydraulic cam 427(this one I'd like to own today)... Was a non XR-7 with production of 101(and you guys like to think TC are rare)... Only 357 Cougars were built with the 427 GTE option, most were XR-7... Sold it when gas prices spiked in the early '80s, decided I couldn't feed two big blocks...
http://gte.mercurycougarregistry.com/production/

#12, '74 Pinto Sta Wgn with sour engine & wrecked '74 hatchback... Took the two and made one(the Sta Wgn of course)...

#13 '71 Ranchero with 351 Cleveland, A/T, P/S, A/C?(don't remember having that)... Yee-Haw, but I prefer the '68/'69 body style... Sold to a friend that also bought the '70 Galaxie...

#14 '69 Ranchero 302, Automatic(another bare bones no power options)...

#15 '68 Torino 4Dr, mostly bought for it's factory AM/FM Stereo radio and harness(to swap into my Cobra Jet), I did use it as a driver for a few months...

#16 '75 Granada 2dr 6 cyl, auto, loaded but like the pinto no ass... This one left with the first wife...

At this point I really got into buying/reselling and owned '72 Country Squire Sta Wgn, '74 Maverick, '79 Chevette, '74 & '76 Mustang II, '74 Vega that was undoubtedly the worst car I ever owned that actually ran and drove(but it had working A/C, even if the engine barely could pull the car with it on)... Also had a '79 Camaro, 76 Trans AM with a 455 swap, '81 Chevette(came with 2nd wife)'78 Malibu(gave to second wife, we drove it for several years) and another '76 Stang that I used as a driver for over a year... At this point I was buying one or two a week and one time as many as 10 at one shot, will never remember them all... Did have a couple Chevy Monzas with V8 that were peppy I kept around as toys...

That's it I quit...

Non hatchback, common referral to models that have a real trunk vs hatch...
