If my 85 has the factory brown top injectors, will it already have the bigger VAM and the LA3?? Cause I just bought everything listed above THINKING I was upgrading. Did I just waste my money?

Oh and i changed the brake booster today too..no fun. Not as bad as I thought it would be though. Got one with a master cylinder at the jy for $65. Yup. Just figured I'd share.

Your 85 may have either sized injectors. However it WILL have the small VAM no matter what. Big VAMs only came on 87-88 TCs and 85.5-86 SVOs. It will NOT have an LA3 from the factory, that was an 87-88 only computer. You will need an LA2 or LA3 to use a big VAM, or an SVO PE1 computer to run a big VAM

+1 for pete. with those mods youll definately have a lot more potential from your bird.
'88 tc daily driver
.48 t3, stinger fmic, boblog, ebay twin piston BOV, 3" stinger dp, 3" exhaust shop straight pipe to the axle, ported/knifed lower, gutted upper, 3" intake tube & k/n filter, kirban fpr (42 psi), walboro 255, gillis @ 22 psi, pony wheels
