Gentlemen as posted by lonestar the both dash units in fact do have the 9 volt plug adapters. I always check even though i already knew the answer. Its better to be safe than make a bad post. Also jeff i did know that the voltage could be constant. The mechanical point thermo stock unit is barbaric at that but it shure did the job for many years on many car lines. I also like the fact that you made yours adjustible to suite your gauge adjustments. Thats a very good option for sure. Nice Job Jeff. Thank you

That is for sure! "Back in the day" I had a 66 Falcon Sprint that had the exact same mechanical / thermal IVR that Ford used up thru the late 80s / early 90s. I dont think it was a new for 66 design either. I wonder how far back Ford was using the exact same IVR?

Jeff Sir i am going to go out on a limb with this answer. The CVR/IVR Probably popped up when cars went to 12 Volt systems. If memory serves me i think this is correct. Not 100% sure Thank You
