i just changed the ect. and while taking the intake off noticed there was gas in the upper intake and on the surface where the upper and lower intake join and after putting it all back together and taking it for a test drive no change still has a miss. and another thing the turbo doesnt really spool up it just jumps up to 10-12 lbs. of boost and thats it and it still doesnt really go

i have had faith that is y i bought the car i knew it had a problem when i bought it just didnt think it would be this much of a pain, i think ive changed about every sensor in this thing and it still wont go i just dont understand y it will go when its cold most of the time it runs fine and then once it warms up it goes to hell and someitmes itll smoke white smoke horribly bad, also when i checked the plugs (which are brand new motorcraft) the #2 was black as black could be and when i was changing the ect today noticed there was some gas on the lower intake just layin there looks like it came out of the #2 injector, b/c it had some gas on it as well

The leaking injector is hopefully just an o-ring which can still be bought at Ford. Fairly cheap and an easy fix.
NO TC and NO headaches.

Are you saying that there is wet gas INSIDE the upper intake? If so pull the hose off the fuel pressure regulator and see if it has gas in it or the strong smell of gas. If so, replace the regulator

i already pulled the hose off and there was no gas, coming out of the the regulator but i think im gonna change that next just to see what happens cuz for some reason its not getting enough air or just way too much gas, what would be causing it to not get enough air?

Sounds like this thing is running pig rich. I have not really followed all your posts, but I remember you said you did a tune up. You did replace the 02 sensor right ? The vam could also be the cause if it is sticking open, not calibrated properly(ie:worn out) or possibly a small VAM. TPS could also be off, you should try pressure checking the entire intake, from the turbo. but that would cause a lean condition if it were a vac/boost leak.

If the turbo is just jumping to 10psi it is probably getting spooled by fuel that did not burn in the combustion chambers. Then burning in the exhaust mainfold. Does the turbo spool real real quick. Or does it just hit 10psi when it should, at a normal engine speed. The cam or timing could also be off but I am sure you probably checked them and did the fuel system check. Also check vac, could be a bad cat too ?

I know that a few things being off can make it run like it has one major problem. And if you give up on it, you can just give it to me Big Grin Seriously tho, hang in there,

Wow this is on-going isn't it! I can relate, though not as bad of a problem. I read through your other posts again and I don't see some clear answers on some questions. If you have done these things, my apologies! Trying to keep you from chasing your tail, and lay some facts about getting along with this car.

Get your own fuel pressure gauge and do the diagnostics. I see your mechanic says it is good, but we don't trust them so much with our car. They are cheaper than the money you spent on the mechanic, probably; and you'll want it again when you start modding.

If you are unsure of the VAM, do a search for check vam, bad vam, test vam, etc. Anything from Jeff K is gospel. Test it yourself, don't guess if it is sticking.

Unburnt fuel will be found with your own pressure test. Check for pressure drop also. When you get your gauge we'll be more than happy to walk you through it. However I also see one mention of TFI/PIP, and you brushed off the fact that it said "runs fine for a minute" and yours does also that it is not that. Replace it with Motorcraft. If you've ALREADY done all the sensors (like I did also) what's another few bucks to rule that out?

Black plugs, white smoke, runs fine cold sounds TFI'ish to me. Oh, gut the cat too. You're going to get a 3" anyway Big Grin

you guys are awesome i love this site so much, thank you all for your help here. now im lost all this talk and i dont know what to try next. and as for the turbo spooling quick it pretty much just goes right to 10-12 psi. as soon as i hit the throttle, and under idle the vac, on the boost gauge reads about 15-17 which i see is kinda low, and yes it has a new o2 sensor, Pete i dont know if it was wet gas or not but i know there was some wet gas between the intakes under the gasket, new egr and cleaned all the holes and it was black as black could be also
