For the first time in far to long, I had the silver bird running after priming the oiling system and shooting some oil in the cylinders. Fired right up on no advance and old fuel. I took it or a very short drive, she is loosing oil too fast for anything longer. A bath and she is now in the garage for a long resto project.
Hopefully I will generate some new article out of this project as there is a lot on the list. Another crank to take care of the rear seal issue is at the top. The Hanlon rebuilt T5 will be going in. Much more to come Big Grin

I can't stand to have my toys broken for long periods. Good luck with the project.

Come on Mike....what year, options, condition, pictures....we all want to know. My new 88 needs a total tuneup, lots of front end work, and rear axle seals...yah.

Way cool Pete. The anticipation of begining of a long project, finally getting to it and really setting it all up to begin seriously, has always been a good feeling for me. Sounds like it is for you too!
