For the first time in far to long, I had the silver bird running after priming the oiling system and shooting some oil in the cylinders. Fired right up on no advance and old fuel. I took it or a very short drive, she is loosing oil too fast for anything longer. A bath and she is now in the garage for a long resto project.
Hopefully I will generate some new article out of this project as there is a lot on the list. Another crank to take care of the rear seal issue is at the top. The Hanlon rebuilt T5 will be going in. Much more to come

I can't stand to have my toys broken for long periods. Good luck with the project.

OK, give me a shout if you need one. DW is getting my last engine and then the rest is going to John. I'm done with 2.3's. (But not TC's I already have another)

Come on Mike....what year, options, condition, pictures....we all want to know. My new 88 needs a total tuneup, lots of front end work, and rear axle seals...yah.

Way cool Pete. The anticipation of begining of a long project, finally getting to it and really setting it all up to begin seriously, has always been a good feeling for me. Sounds like it is for you too!
