I've gradualy been knocking out a few gremlins that have krept into my TC.

First it was a random miss / stumble at idle and cruise. It became a "chug" under boost at above 4k rpm. Tuneup fixed about 90% of that. Then this past winter it ran like total crap when cold and after it got warm it cleaned up. Ran codes and adjusted the TPS and changed the ECT sensor. That fixed the cold idle problems. Now I only had the chug at 4k rpm under boost. I swapped out the regulator with a Kirban I'd purchased long ago (when I had intake off changing the ECT) and as luck would have it my fuel pump died with the car in the garage. A couple weeks ago I swapped out the pump with a Walbro 255 hp.

Which btw I purchased from JD's off the vendor page here before I read about people having problems with the install (mustang stuff not TC). I went ahead with it anyway figuring I should be able to make something work even if it isn't "right." Well the stuff they gave me was a match for what was already on the car. The sock/screen, new o-ring seal, it was just take old one off and put new one on.

Now my old problems are a thing of the past. It runs smooth - no miss at all anywhere idle or otherwise and it pulls strong and smooth through the gears with boost at 15psi. I think it runs better now than it has since I've owned it (fuel pump likely been going out for a while now, it just wasn't running well enough to kill it). Its time for the dragway now. Mid-Michigan here I come - happy birthday to me (well not until late september)!
