We just put the 3g alternator in, and there is an extra plug that doesnt fit the new one. I think it has the stator on it. Anyway, we hooked the alternator to the starter selenoid and plugged in the regulator and we get 14.7 volts at the battery and alternator. Is there anythign wrong with just not hooking up that one wire? I think its just for warning lights or the gauge.
