Hey everybody. I have a question on an engine part. Little back story, I was taking apart my intake to get to my ECT. When taking it apart I was taking off the EGR. The bottom hole on the EGR is completely clogged. Could this be messing with my ECT somehow and not let my fans turn on?
Thanks!

No, the EGR is not a factor in cooling fan operation.

From the factory the fan doesn't turn on until the engine is at the top of the temp gauge. This is normal. You can change the set point with EEC calibration tools like a QuarterHorse or twEECer.
