Is detination comen, can you stop it?

When you described it I know exactly what the sound is. I have asked several people what that noise is I descibed it as taking the tab of from a soda can puting it in side and shaking it. Nobody new what I was taking about. And it usally happens when I am luging the engine in like third gear. I thought i was loosing my mind. Thanks for the help Jason

Have you checked your timing with the sprout disconnected? Are you running premium fuel?
You may be trying to lug the engine too much,
shift to a lower gear. Lugging is not good for an engine, even without detonation.
