Ryan, now that Mike mentions it. I had something similar on one of mine, couldn't find it. Had the dealership put their squeak and rattle finder on it and it was something like what Mike describes, Can't tell you exactly where it's at, dealer fixed it for me.

They were not at the floor pan (maybe the front corner?), follow the subframes back to the bulkhead, I think there were two sets of 3 bolts each?

Good Luck,

Fixed! THANK YOU everybody for your help! I put my car on a lift today and tightened the power steering rack bushings and the bolts that Mike described (subframe bolts?). They weren't loose to begin with as far as I could tell with a wratchet, but the air impact wrench told a different story. Each bolt nudged almost 1/4 of a turn! The clunk is now completely gone. Again, THANK YOU everybody!

Glad to be of help. That one should be added to the toughest to find problem list. The bird was less than 5 when my wife had this problem.

what would you know... I tightend up those four bolts for the K member, tightend up the rack which really wasnt loose and the cross bar under the oil pan, and I cleaned up my sway bar frame mount bushings, and torqued the end links to spec. the "clunk" is gone
