Hi all, my name is Brad McIlwee. I bought my black 88 turbo coupe in 1990 after my white one went lake diving (long story). It’s been sitting about 12 years but I’m getting it going again in fits and starts. Still stock but re engined 2 years ago at about 173k and have been fixing weak links since.

welcome to the site.
I'm very curious about this lake diving story!

Here's a few pics of my repaint. Changed the basic black to a Toyota Black Sand with a subtle flake that looks awesome in the sun. Hood scoops are a flat black with red highlights that match the molding stripe. Also added red highlights to all the thunderbird emblems. Oh, and chromed the wheels, with flat black insets (way easier to clean).

My pics aren't showing up. I used the add attachment function. Is there another trick I don't know about?

BMC, welcome to the group, there is a lot of knowledge on here for you to use, they have helped me immensely along the way. When I attach pics, I simply use my phone, then saved to my computer, then add as an attachment at the bottom of the posting page. Also, always preview your post to see how it looks before hitting post, that way you can see if the pic took or not.
