Just wondering if there is a way to replace the fins in the standard 87-88 intercooler?

Because I have an intercooler that is polished and in very good shape, but a few rows have bent fins and I do not like the look of it with the bent fins.

You could also make the ic have more fins per inch than the stock IC. But I dont know if it can be done.

There is no way you are going to successfully replace the fins. If you are carefull, you can straighten them with a thin standard screw driver. I've done it several times with radiators.
